What to Expect

Our worship service begins with a warm welcome from our pastor and opening songs and hymns. The service is a great mix of Bible readings, prayers, contemporary songs of praise, traditional hymns of the faith, and a sermon based on God's Word to bring you forgiveness and hope through Jesus Christ. The worship service generally lasts about one hour and is based on the solid truths of the Bible and the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (www.lcms.org).

The style of dress is generally casual, although there is a great mixture of styles of dress, with some coming in jeans and t-shirts, while others come in more formal styles of dress. The most important thing for us, is that you are there. Do not worry about your style of clothing. We believe that Jesus Christ loves us, regardless of our style of dress.

We also love children here at Trinity.  You do not need to worry about the noises they make. We love their noise, and we believe that God loves them too. While in worship kids will find plenty of things to capture their attention. Each Sunday children are invited to the front for a brief children’s message.

Communion is served on the second, fourth, and fifth Sunday of the month. Those who have been confirmed in the Lutheran church and believe Communion to be the true Body and Blood of Jesus Christ are welcome to receive this great gift. If you have further questions, you may wish to speak to an elder or the pastor.

To get connected to Trinity, just come and worship with us. Talk with Pastor Appold or others before or after worship and you will find a great church, ready to help you get connected. You are certainly welcome to attend Bible Study, which is held every Sunday between worship in the parlor.

We are located at 3225 Roosevelt Rd. in Muskegon (Roosevelt Park). There is a large and spacious parking lot on the south side of the church and another one on the north side of the church, off of Woodside Rd.

Please come and join us!
